IV Vitamin C saves lives. Correction 2013 data shows about 9,000 deaths for ARDS not 25,000 2.8/100,000.
The Marik trial used a fairly low dose of 6.0 gms, 28 gms/24 would have been a more appropriate dose with a loading dose. Dr. Marik’s current protocol uses a higher dose.
