We talk about the new innovations in natural lymphedema treatments. See Dr. Stephen Smith’s recommended lineup below.

Lymphedema Treatments: Detoxification, Enzymes, and Chelating Agents
Lymphedema occurs when the lymphatic system is blocked by large particles, inhibiting the flow of lymphatic fluid (or lymph). This blockage causes swelling typically in the arms and legs.
Lymphedema as discussed by Dr. Stephen Smith:
Cells dump their waste into the extracellular space around them. Lymphatic fluid, then, comes through and catches the waste. Together, they go into the lymphatic vessels and pass by lymph nodes that trap foreign bodies like bacteria or large protein by-products. This is a normal process that prevents the causative agents or foreign compounds (e.g. bacteria, protein, etc.) from getting into the blood circulation. If this process is unable to happen, the lymphatic fluid thickens or keeps the large compounds in the flow, i.e. large components do not fit, causing the blockage.
There are various factors that contribute to the development of lymphedema. They may include:
Surgical damage to lymph nodes
Scars causing dysfunction in the drainage system
The high viscosity of the lymphatic fluid
Lymphedema Treatments: Using Homeopathics
Dr. Stephen Smith recommends two types of homeopathic treatments for lymphedema -- one using enzymes and one using detoxifying agents for all organs.
Lymphedema Cure #1: Hevert Detox Lymph Oral Drops
Dr. Stephen Smith suggests detoxification prior to the intake of enzymes. The Hevert Detox Lymph works to get into the lymphatic fluid and break down the large compounds in it. For instance, it chops large proteins into smaller proteins, lowering viscosity and allowing the fluid and all to pass through the lymphatic system. It contains the following active and inactive ingredients for lymph detoxification:
Arsenium album 6X
Mercurius bijodatus 8X
Rhus Toxicodendron 6X
Scrophularia nodosa 3X
46% ethanol V/V, purified water (inactive)
Hevert Detox Lymph is taken on a continual basis unless you’re changing your diet or you have found out through tests that something else is causing the lymphatic fluid blockage or viscosity, i.e. fats. Take 20 drops 3 times a day on an empty stomach with a glass of water. Take it 15 to 20 minutes before meals, or 2 hours after meals. You will notice that the improvement is fairly quick -- in a matter of hours to days.
Taking Hevert Detox Lymph has synergistic homeopathic ingredients so, taking it with other medications is allowed.
Lymphedema Cure #2: Enzyme Defense
Enzyme Defense by Enzymedica contains an enzyme blend that purifies the body, removing proteins that do not belong in the bloodstream. This allows the immune system to focus on areas of need. It contains a protease called Thera-blend which is a combination of multiple strains of enzymes that work in specific pH levels. It works as a catalase that helps break down protein intruders in the bloodstream and provides powerful antioxidant properties. Rounding out its formula are Mucolase and serrapeptase. These enzymes digest mucus, encourage healthy circulation and support systemic health.
Take a capsule twice a day an hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
Lymphedema Treatments: Addressing Methylation Problems
Dr. Stephen Smith discusses lymphedema, mercury, genetic methylation, and his suggested treatment protocol in this video:
Please do note that you need to undergo a proper medical assessment prior to taking the suggested treatments above. This is so to ensure that you are addressing the root cause of your condition correctly.
