CAUTION: Use only as recommended. Magnesium chloride is generally well tolerated. Most side effects are due to toxicity (hypermagnesemia). Mild hypermagnesemia is generally well-tolerated, but severe hypermagnesemia can affect the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
