MycoPul™: A Mycotoxin Binder Built for the Fact That Mold Toxins Aren’t All the Same

Six Targeted Binders. One Capsule Daily. Advanced Binder Complex.

Mold exposure is more common than most people realize, and once mycotoxins are in your system, your body needs real help clearing them. MycoPul™ uses a six-ingredient MycoPlex™ binder complex (G-PUR® purified zeolite, humic/fulvic acids, activated charcoal, microchitosan, and more) to target the mycotoxins that single-ingredient binders miss. One capsule a day, on an empty stomach, simple to work into any detox routine.*

The exposure problem

Mold Produces Toxins Your Body Has to Deal With, And Most Binders Only Handle Part of the Job

Mycotoxins (toxic byproducts of mold) show up in water-damaged buildings, certain foods, and everyday environments more often than most people realize.

Once mycotoxins are in the GI tract, your body benefits from targeted binding support, but not all mycotoxins behave the same way. Aflatoxins, ochratoxins, trichothecenes, and zearalenone are structurally different from each other, which is exactly why a single-ingredient binder often falls short: it may grab one mycotoxin class effectively and barely touch another.

The Pain Points of a Binder That Only Does One Job

None of these are dramatic on their own. That's exactly why the single-ingredient gap is easy to miss.

The solution

MycoPul™: Six Targeted Binders, Because Mycotoxins Aren't One Thing Either

Instead of asking one ingredient to do all the work, MycoPul™ brings together six.

MycoPul™'s proprietary MycoPlex™ blend brings together six targeted binders in one 600 mg complex, each contributing a different binding mechanism instead of asking one ingredient to do all the work.

It's part of Researched Nutritionals®'s broader detox line and can be used standalone or alongside Tri-Fortify®, CytoQuel®, and ToxinPul™ as part of a more complete approach.*

How it works

What's Actually in the MycoPlex™ Complex

Mold produces a family of toxic byproducts called mycotoxins, and not all mycotoxins are the same. Aflatoxins, ochratoxins, trichothecenes, and zearalenone are structurally different from one another, and a binder that grabs onto one may do very little against another. That's why MycoPul™ doesn't rely on a single binding agent, it uses MycoPlex™, six targeted binders working together in one 600 mg complex:

  • Humic and fulvic acid blend with trace minerals, broad-spectrum organic binders. This batch is sourced from a specific European peat bog yielding roughly 70% humic acid concentration, well above the ~30% typical of most generic humic powders. Humic and fulvic acids are general binders for mycotoxins, used in particular for aflatoxins (the mycotoxin family produced by Aspergillus mold).
  • Activated charcoal, supports removal of ochratoxins, aflatoxins, trichothecenes, and zearalenone.
  • G-PUR® purified Zeolite Clinoptilolite, a patented, highly purified natural zeolite. Clinoptilolite is the more desirable zeolite form because other forms carry a higher aluminum-to-silica ratio, reducing binding capacity. The G-PUR® process removes contaminants the raw zeolite may have already picked up from soil, preserving binding capacity for the GI tract. Clinoptilolite is stable in the body and has a strong affinity for binding ammonia, supporting healthy glial, liver, and kidney function.
  • Microchitosan, supports the body's healthy removal of fungal residue; used specifically for ochratoxin and heavy metal binding support.
  • Silica (from bamboo extract), aids the body's removal of aluminum, essential for brain health.

Together, the combination is designed to cover more mycotoxin classes than a single-ingredient binder.*

How to use

Simple to Work Into a Routine You Already Have

Take 1 capsule once daily on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after eating, or 1 hour before eating, or as directed by your healthcare professional. 30 capsules per bottle equals a 30-day supply at this dose.

Pro tip

It is recommended to take a multi-mineral, such as Core Minerals™, at the opposite time of day while using MycoPul™. Binders are non-selective by nature, they can also carry away beneficial minerals along with what they're binding, so pairing with a mineral complex at a separate time of day is part of how this protocol is designed to be used.

Before you use it

  • If pregnant or nursing, consult your health care professional before use.
  • Because MycoPul™ is a binder, take it away from other medications and supplements; ask your healthcare professional about your personal medication timing.
  • Contains shellfish (snow crab), not suitable for shellfish allergies.

FAQ

Questions About MycoPul™

Does MycoPul™ contain shellfish?

Yes. MycoPul™ contains shellfish (snow crab) as the source of its Microchitosan, one of the six binders in the MycoPlex™ blend. If you have a shellfish allergy, do not take this product. MycoPul™ is manufactured without milk, eggs, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, corn, or gluten, but the shellfish content is not optional or trace, it's a core ingredient, so it's not appropriate for shellfish-allergic individuals.

Is MycoPul™ safe to take with other supplements or medications?

MycoPul™ is formulated as a binder, meaning it's designed to bind to compounds in the GI tract, which is exactly why timing matters. It's taken on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after eating or 1 hour before eating, partly to reduce the chance of it binding to something other than its intended target. If you're on prescription medication or have a health condition, talk to your healthcare professional before starting MycoPul™, and consider spacing other supplements away from your MycoPul™ dose. If pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare professional before use.

How does MycoPul™ fit into a broader detox protocol?

MycoPul™ works as a standalone product, or you can pair it with other Researched Nutritionals® products like Tri-Fortify®, CytoQuel®, and ToxinPul™ as part of a more complete detox approach. Because binders can also remove beneficial minerals during the binding process, we recommend taking a multi-mineral like Core Minerals™ at the opposite time of day to help replenish what's lost.

When and how do I take MycoPul™?

Take 1 capsule once daily on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after eating or 1 hour before your next meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

What's your return policy if MycoPul™ isn't right for me?

Unopened bottles can be returned within 30 days of your order, in original, resalable packaging. Opened bottles can't be accepted back for safety reasons. Approved returns carry a 15% restocking fee, and original shipping isn't refundable. Full details are in the Return Policy section above.

Is MycoPul™ GMO-free? Is the capsule vegetarian?

Yes to both. MycoPul™ is GMO-free, and the capsule itself is Hypromellose, a vegetable-based capsule, not gelatin.

Research Citations

The individual binder categories used in MycoPul's MycoPlex™ complex are each independently studied classes of adsorptive/binding agents in the functional and environmental medicine literature:

  • Humic and fulvic acids, organic substances studied as general binding agents for a range of environmental toxins, including mycotoxins such as aflatoxins.
  • Zeolite (clinoptilolite), a naturally occurring mineral studied for its ion-exchange and adsorptive capacity; the clinoptilolite form is specifically studied for higher binding capacity relative to other zeolite structures due to a lower aluminum-to-silica ratio.
  • Activated charcoal, a long-established adsorptive agent used broadly in both conventional and integrative practice for binding a range of substances in the GI tract.
  • Chitosan, a chitin-derived compound studied for binding capacity related to fungal residues and certain heavy metals.

These are presented as researched ingredient categories and structure/function mechanisms, not as claims that MycoPul™ treats, cures, or prevents any specific illness.
