The CDC recommendations are useful as far as they go. Several studies have shown the benefit of facial masks. However, key information backed by research on vitamin D, glutathione, etc. is not on the CDC website. Studies on vitamin D show that people with optimal levels of vitamin D have a 51% lower death rate and are 54% less likely to contract the coronavirus infection.
Optimal levels of vitamin D range between 50 and 80 ng/ml with 70 ng/ml being optimal. The dose required to obtain that level varies with the size of the person. Most women can achieve that level with a dose of 4,000 to 5,000 units per day. Men typically require a higher dose of 7,000 to 8,000 units a day to achieve the optimal blood level of vitamin D. Vitamin K2 in combination with Vitamin D helps keep calcium in the teeth and bones where it belongs.
The loading dose of vitamin D for those not taking vitamin D is150,000 to 200,000 units.
