Brain photobiomodulation is the process of delivering specific wavelengths of near-infrared light to those cells, where, in research, the light energy is absorbed and has been explored as a way to support cellular energy production.
The Neuro Duo 4 transmits pulsed near-infrared (NIR) energy through the cranium and through the intranasal channel, activating this photobiomodulation process. Through efficient engineering, it extracts one of the highest power outputs available from an NIR source, around 100 to 150 mW/cm², without generating heat.
What makes the Duo different from a single-mode device is that it carries both pulse rates. The light can pulse at 40 Hz, the gamma frequency, or at 10 Hz, the alpha frequency.
