- Lymphedema
- Low Glutathione
- Reduce Inflammation
Some people also have disruption of their autonomic nervous system due to scars. Some scars generate a small electrical signal, which can generate pain and interfere with the normal function of the autonomic nervous system, which controls our organ function. An active scar can be treated by injecting the scar with procaine, which eliminates the charge. Most scars only require a single treatment.
CRPS Treatment Protocol
There are two key factors in the successful treatment of CRPS. The first is absolutely essential and that is to relieve the lymphatic congestion. The second is to restore glutathione levels, which is best done by addressing methylation issues. The lymphatic congestion must be addressed first. If detoxification is attempted and before the lymphatic congestion is treated, the condition will get worse.
3 Steps to the CRPS Treatment Protocols:
- Improve Lymphatic Congestion
- Reduce sources of inflammation
- Increase glutathione levels
Supplements Used & Improvement of Lymphatic Flow
1. Proteolytic Enzymes- Enzyme Defense: Start with 1 capsule 3 times per day with water and increase dosing gradually to 2 to 3 capsules per dose. Must be taken at least 30 minutes before a meal or at least one hour after.
2. Homeopathics: Hevert Detox Kit Starting with the lymph detox bottle or use one drop in a glass of water two to three times per day. As long as there are no side effects, keep increasing the dosage to get up to about 10 to 15 drops of dose. Typically, if you are going to see side effects, it will be with the lower doses. If you are getting side effects such as increased itchiness or fatigue, then you just need to lower the dose.
Then start detoxing the liver, kidneys and the intestines using the other bottles in the kit.
If these steps are successful the body can now remove toxins that will be released in the next step, which is raising glutathione levels.
Once the initial detox is done. The Hervert Lymph Detox and the enzymes can be used to maintain lymphatic drainage.
Raising Glutathione
Glutathione is the body's primary detoxifier. Most people that suffer from chronic diseases like CRPS have low levels of glutathione and subsequently can not process and remove toxins from their bodies. Couple that with lymphedema and you have a "perfect storm" called CRPS. Glutathione can be raised a couple of ways the first is to use a specially formulated form of glutathione that can survive the GI tract, Recancostat. The second is to use a precursor such as NAC (n-acetylcysteine) pronounced NACK along with trace minerals to ensure the conversion of NAC to glutathione.
Reducing Inflammation
The pain in CRPS is media by cytokines, which are signaling molecules. Strong anti-inflammatory herbs such as curcumin which comes from turmeric are helpful in reducing the inflammation and associated pain. Unfortunately, curcumin is poorly absorbed. The curcumin products we recommend have specially processed to improve absorption and availability. CytoQuel by Researched Nutritionals not only contains curcumin but multiple ingredients that work synergistically to reduce inflammation and pain.
OTHER STEPS
While the supplements in this protocol are designed to deal with CRPS other contributing factors need to be addressed.
Fixing the GI Tract
These steps address the essential issues in CRPS, but CRPS is rarely an isolated condition. GI inflammation and a leaky gut are also typically present and need to be addressed. GI inflammation is typically the main source of inflammation in the body.
Dental Issues
Toxic amalgams or gum disease is another source of toxicity and inflammation. Mercury amalgams if present, need to be removed as mercury is a potent cellular toxin.
Differences Between Starter and Maintenance Bundles
We offer two bundles the only difference between the Starter Bundle and the Regular Bundle is in the Starter Bundle we use the Complete Hervert Detox Kit versus just the Lymphatic Detox in the maintenance bundle.
